The Book Of Me: Prompt 41 --Blood Group

 This week's prompt is - Blood Group

 Do you know your blood group? Many people don't.
In fact here in the UK many General Practitioners (family doctors) do not even know or have it on record.
A simple and yet important snippet of information.
Do you have a popular blood group?
What about other members of your family?

 I am O+. I found out what type I was when I was a teenager and there was a blood drive held at the high school I attended. I've donated blood a few times over the years but not recently. That's something I should look into doing again soon.

I found especially interesting how blood type percentages varied among people of different ethnicities.
I think I might be able to knock out two of these prompts today. Woohoo! Wish me luck. We'll see. (Smile)

    I haven't gotten into the whole blood grouping part of genealogy yet! New and exciting world for me. I just put together County Clerks Contact Info site recently to help people looking for records. Maybe soon blood!?

I wanted to say hello to everyone. I know it's been a long time since my last post. The world is in a much different space from when I last wrote on March 2nd. So am I. My 23andMe Results!

I took full advantage and ordered a test for my husband as well as one for myself. Well, my results came back late last week and I found them reaffirming and interesting all at the same time.  Image courtesy of 23andme Maternal Haplogroup Result: L3e3b In a prior post, My MtDNA Result Are Back! , I revealed the results of my first MtDNA test. I tested with FamilyTreeDNA last year and they determined that my Haplogroup was L3e3b. It was reassuring to see that 23andMe came up with the same result this time around. Pink Invitational 2020

Here's pictures of our beautiful girl back from injury. In the fall, she broke a bone in her left foot which took a long time to heal. These are pictures from her second competition of the season, Pink Invitational 2020. She's getting stronger every week. I loved watching her compete and hanging out with her teammates. They are so supportive of one another. No medals this time for her but she gained a bunch of her confidence back.  She competed late on Saturday February 22, 2020 so that involved an overnight stay in Philadelphia. I don't like driving long distances at night especially if I'm tired. The following day we spent time sightseeing and checking out a Blick art supply store that was near our hotel. OMG!
