How Did I Get Here? My Amazing Genealogy Journey

Yup, that's me fencing foil this past Saturday at Binghamton University. This was my first competition since my knee surgery back in June. Good news...the knee is still attached. Even better news... I placed 5th out of 14 in mixed foil. For me at my age, that's not too shabby :) 

I am a bit behind posting pictures from this Summer. These are some pictures from a trip we took in late July to Connecticut and Rhode Island. We stayed at Foxwoods Casino by night and had fun in the sun at Misquamicut State Beach during the day. I can't believe Summer is almost over. I hope everyone out there has had time to make a few memories with their families.

It definitely wasn't a day for swimming but it was a beautiful day to be on the beach. Kids had fun getting their feet wet and digging in the sand. I love observing them, the scenery, and everything in between. These pictures were taken at Marconi Beach on Cape Cod. The waves were pretty crazy that day. Angry seas...happy man.
