Back in September of 2011, I posted Freddie Harrison's obituary and mentioned I really didn't know anything more than what was written in it about him. My trip to New Bern and Morhead City in January yielded a picture. I would like to add that now I know a little bit more about him. I have located his U.S World War II Young Man's Draft Registration Card.

I know he served in the Army and that he is buried at New Bern National Cemetery, in section 3 site 27.

    I am curious if you did any research on Frankie's High School? Do they have year books, and if the school is closed does the Library??

    The West Street School, I haven't done a lot of research on. I did find an article talking about the start of the school sometime ago. Let me see if I can find the link. I should check the Kellenberger room to see if they have access to old yearbooks or something. Thanks you have given me something to work on. :)

I wanted to say hello to everyone. I know it's been a long time since my last post. The world is in a much different space from when I last wrote on March 2nd. So am I. My 23andMe Results!

I took full advantage and ordered a test for my husband as well as one for myself. I tested with FamilyTreeDNA last year and they determined that my Haplogroup was L3e3b. It was reassuring to see that 23andMe came up with the same result this time around. Pink Invitational 2020

Here's pictures of our beautiful girl back from injury. In the fall, she broke a bone in her left foot which took a long time to heal. These are pictures from her second competition of the season, Pink Invitational 2020. She's getting stronger every week. I loved watching her compete and hanging out with her teammates. They are so supportive of one another. No medals this time for her but she gained a bunch of her confidence back.  She competed late on Saturday February 22, 2020 so that involved an overnight stay in Philadelphia. I don't like driving long distances at night especially if I'm tired. The following day we spent time sightseeing and checking out a Blick art supply store that was near our hotel. OMG!
