Wordless Wednesday: Family Vacation --Siesta Key 2015

Thank goodness the family and I were able to get away to one of our favorite places, Siesta Key, Florida. This winter was a tough one. Where we live in upstate NY, it was a very cold and snowy. From the moment we got off the plane in Siesta Key, we all received an instant energy boost from being able to feel warm air on our skin and the sun on our faces.

My son is a wonderful big brother to his sister.
Here he's taking her for a boat ride in the pool.

Don't get me wrong he and her have their moments. In general, they play well together.

I love this tall pine tree that's a couple of houses

  1. We visited Siesta Key a few years ago. Do they still do the Drum Circle on Friday night? That was great! Enjoy your vacation!

    1. Thanks Wendy! I don't know about the drum circle. I will have to look into this. We are so much enjoying just hanging out by the pool with the kids. This evening we're going to hit up the beach after dinner and probably the next couple of days as well.

    2. I just looked it up-- seems to be on Sundays now. I don't know if Easter will have an effect on that.

  3. Your son is turning into a real little man there. Both of them are growing up before our eyes. Wish I was going to spend some time at the beach.

    1. They certainly are growing up. My son is going to be a tall one for sure! He almost wears the same shoe size as his father and he's only 10.
